The band Hteththemeth from Braşov is considered one of the most enigmatic appearances on the rock & metal scene. With a unique style and without limits of musical approach, the "non-human" music practiced by the band shyly switches from metal with ambient elements and influences of black to blues and bossa nova. The landscape is complemented by a unique theatrical show, the band succeeding each time to conceptually pencil a landscape full of feelings, some pleasant, some cool, some confusing, some fully-fledged.
Hteththemeth is the winner of GBOB Romania 2015 and represented Romania in the world final of The Global Battle Of The Bands which took place in Berlin on May 26th. At this important event, which brought together 14 finalists from all over the world, Hteththemeth won the world's second prize, as well as the prize for "the most voted band of the finalist."
On June 23, Hteththemeth also won the Wacken Metal Battle Romania final, which took place in Sibiu. Following this contest, Hteththemeth again represented Romania (for the second time the same year), at the biggest rock festival - Wacken Open Air.
Preparing now the release of a new record, a 15-track full-length album, Hteththemeth will perform the Rockstadt Extreme Fest a special show that will include several tracks from this album, some first audition songs, and also theatrical elements.
