It is a pleasure to welcome the legendary Judas Priest to Tons of Rock 2024 as the first headliner of the year. Judas Priest has for a number of years been one of the most requested bands for Tons of Rock among our audience, and the band is more relevant than ever. The following names are part of the first wave of bands announced: Parkway Drive, Satyricon, Abbath, Opeth, Black Debbath, Motorpsycho, Oslo Ess, Better Lovers, Igorrr, Orange Goblin, Rotting Christ, Thundermother, Thy Art Is Murder and While She Sleeps.
Parkway Drive last played at the Tons in 2015, and since then have risen to the elite division and become a stadium band that creates a furor wherever they play. It will be massive and loud.
Satyricon is making a comeback and will be doing their only gig in the east of Norway at Tons of Rock next summer.
The legend Abbath brings his arsenal of epic Immortal songs. Freezingly cold and primal. This is a concert many have longed for, and exclusively for Tons of Rock.
Opeth does a completely unique "Fan picked set" where the fans themselves get to decide what will be played at Ekebergsletta!
