We are proud to welcome MYSTICUM to our line-up for Inferno Metal Festival 2016! The band is one of the early bands in the Norwegian black metal scene, with a history all the way back to 1992. Their debut album “In the Streams of Inferno” made furore back in the 90s when it was released, and last year they returned with their mighty new album “Planet Satan”. Finally the band will play in Norway for the first time in 20 years and they bring with them their biggest production they have ever had. This is going to be a hell of a show that no one should miss!
Mysticum was formed back in 1992 under the moniker Sabazios. In 1993 they changed the name to ysticum. The Norwegians' debut album, “In the Streams of Inferno”, was originally slated to be released on Euronymous' Deathlike Silence Productions. That did not happened, but the band continued on with their unique style of industrial black metal on Full Moon Production, and later on Peaceville. In 2014 they released their follow-up to “In the Streams of Inferno”, a critical acclaimed album called “Planet Satan”. The band has not played in Norway for 20 years and what better place to do their return for a Norwegian concert than on Inferno Metal Festival 2016? Mysticum promises a huge production with a full set live show and a once in a life time experience. This is something you can't miss!
